PACART

A FAMILY AFFAIR…

Founded in 1968, PACART started as a father-and-son small business dedicated to the field of fine art logistics. Working from their base in Vancouver, Karle and Rick provided an array of local and provincial services in western Canada.

Rick’s son Mark joined the company in 1979. Mark forged roads Eastward in 1983, settling in Toronto, where Canada’s first fine art shuttle service began offering transportation from coast to coast in Canada and into the USA.

In 1998, Mark’s brother Blake joined the company in Toronto and has spent his career at PACART focusing on all aspects of international logistics. In the same year, PACART expanded to serve the Montréal arts community in partnership with Pierre Bechard. Pierre’s proud Francophone heritage and years of experience in logistics and customs brokerage in the field of fine art transportation proved to be the perfect fit.

Mark’s son Devon joined the family business in 2011, working from the ground up, and now holds the position of Senior Operations Manager for North American Ground Transportation.

We are proud of our heritage, our family, and our extended PACART family, and the dedicated team that provides our clients the highest level of service with the attention to detail required in this unique industry.
